Holographic microfabrication

C. Andraud, P. Baldeck, C. Monnereau, S. Parola

Reconstruction of high-resolution 3D images in real-colors at the sub-millimetric scale for next-generation filigrees on banknotes or credit cards…  owing to multiphotonic (2-photon at 800 nm and 3-photon at 1.5µm) imprinting. This could be achieved using a « permanent photochromic molecule » that we are currently developing, and which features three different stable oxidation states selectively promoted by controlled photobleaching to generate red, yellow or blue emitting voxels at the µm3 and reconstruct full 3D images.

This project will be developed in collaboration with K. Kamada (AIST, Osaka).
