Firebrats
Firebrats (Thermobia domestica) belong to the order Zygentoma, familly Lepismatidae. These basal insects with no wings are closely related to the silverfish. As their name suggests, they like warmth and don't seem to worry too much about global warming. We keep them at 37°C! They are also extremely resistant to starvation. Firebrats are secretive but beautiful insects with their body covered with miniature scales.
