Active systems
We combine experiments and theory to investigate a variety of collective phenomena in soft and activematter. Our current research interests include emergent collective motion, traffic flows in disordered media, and more recently topological aspects of solid and fluid mechanics. Physics of biological systems
We investigate a variety of biological systems at differents scales : - DNA protein interactions (Rloops, telomers) (C. Faivre-Moskalenko) - Transport through the nuclear pore complex (F.Montel) - Virus mechanics and diassembly (C. Faivre-Moskalenko, M. Castelnovo) - Chromatin and epigenetics (C. Vaillant, R. Everaers) - Bacterial motility near a surface (C. Place) - Multiscale dynamics of cell nucleus (E. Freyssingeas)
