First part of a talk is devoted to an experimental study of vibration-induced convection and, particularly, heat and mass transfer under vibrations. Experiments provided the first experimental evidence of thermo- and soluto-vibrational convection under microgravity conditions and revealed existence of a three-dimensional flow structure.

Second part of the talk reveals an effect of surface wettability on a liquid structure after mid-air collision of a drop with a particle of spherical shape. Experiments conducted at similar impact conditions with water drops and particles made of hydrophobic (polystyrene) and hydrophilic (glass) materials allowed to identify two different types of liquid structures.
