====== /usr/local reminder ======

This path (''/usr/local'') is **DEPRECATED** in our clusters since the Debian7 migration. It should not appear in any environment variable (PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, LIBRARY_PATH, CPATH, FPATH, INCLUDE, PREFIX) except special known cases.

It contains many **VERY OLD** things for Centos5 cluster's OS. __**Which we do not use anymore**__.

It should be banish from any of your scripts (except special known cases).

And remember: Better use [[documentation:tools:modules|modulefiles]] for each program, than hardcoded things in general interactive scripts.
