With dozens of Masters in exact sciences and humanities, the ENS de Lyon offers à la carte training and values interdisciplinary approaches. These degrees are co-accredited with partner universities.
The PhD generally requires three years of research work and specific training in the form of tuition or participation in seminars. Each doctoral thesis is supervised by a director and prepared within one of the ENS de Lyon’s research labs.
Specific training for students preparing for the competitive examination of France's highest teaching qualification, the agrégation, in 16 subjects. These courses and the agrégation exam require students to be perfectly fluent in French.
