On March 29, 2018 at 6pm, the regional final of My thesis in 180 seconds contest was held at the University of Lyon. Louise Souquet, PhD student at the IGFL, won the regional round with the short presentation of her thesis untitled Study of instraspecific variation and covariation patterns in conodontal elements.

The national semi-final will take place in Paris at the beginning of April. The national final will take place in Toulouse in June 2018 and the international final in Lausanne in September 2018.
