    The Middle East Studies program (EMO) offers a specialization on Middle East states in the broad sense of the term.

    A program based on a multidisciplinary approach

    • Mastery of contemporary issues and knowledge of their multiple anchors in texts dating back to the foundation of Islam in the 7th century,
    • Structured teachings around 3 main areas to understand the challenges of today and differentiate from the essentialist approaches of Islam as well as from apologetics: political, legal, and religious thinking.
    • Specialists in the Middle-East
    • Students study the specific issues of the Middle East and the political, theological, and legal schemes. 
    • They master at least one language in this geographic and cultural area.

    Language of teaching

    100% of this program is in French.
