Pour ses 6 ans d'existence, le LIA Post western sociology in Europe and in China organise un colloque international. Li Peilin, co-président, sociologue, vice-président de l'Académie des sciences sociales de Chine  recevra à cette occasion les insignes de docteur Honoris Causa.

Laurence Roulleau-Berger recevra le prix Maurice Courant qui lui sera remis "en reconnaissance de ses travaux de recherche scientifique, qui ont permis la création du LIA "Post Western sociology in Europe and in China" et contribuent à renforcer le lien privilégié entre Lyon et la Chine". Ce prix lui est attribué par Le Nouvel Institut Franco-
Chinois avec le soutien de l'Université de Lyon, de l'Institut des sciences humaines et sociales du CNRS et de l'École normale supérieure de Lyon.
