Active and Programmable Network technology bring to service provider
and operators, an elegant solution for new services deployment and
management. These active networks allows to apply a process on the
data, during the transmission, i.e "on-the-fly". In the Active
Networks area, we are involve in the "heterogeneity" and the "high
dynamicity" aspects of the new Internet infrastructure.
Current projects include a complete framework, called Tamanoir  , that
allows users and network designers to easily deploy and maintain high
performance distributed active routers on a wide area network, an
heterogeneous active network test-bed and the design of active reliable multicast protocols.
