Réunion thématique du GDR PHENIX
Non-Linear
Hydrodynamic Waves : Wave Interaction and Wave
Turbulence
Université Paris-Diderot,
19-20 septembre 2013
Aims
The
objective of this meeting is to gather French research community
working in the field of hydrodynamics waves. In numerous natural or
experimental situations non-linear effects are important on
propagation of hydrodynamic waves, producing interesting phenomena
(pattern formation, instabilities, mixing, wave breaking ...). With
recent advances both in numerical simulation of interfacial flows and
in experimental measurement of evolving free surfaces, there is now
the possibility to confront accurately observations and theoretical
predictions. M. Berhanu et E. Falcon
