====== 20251007 / Scheduled power outage and System upgrade ======

**kind reminder:**
An electrical power outage for maintenance purpose will be held Saturday 18th of October 2025 (12 hours long maintenance).

  * All PSMN infrastructure will be **powered off** from friday 17th (**starting 12h00**) to tuesday 21th
    * login nodes, compute nodes & visualization nodes will be POWERED OFF at noon (12h00) friday 17th

   * **At restart:**
     * All PSMN infrastruture will be UPGRADED to Debian 13 Trixie
     * **All scratches will be ERASED** (incompatible version change)

**For now, all $comp2 login nodes (e5-2667v4comp2,m6142comp2,x5570comp2,cl[5218,6226,6242]comp2) will be rebooted (EDIT: have been) in the new OS version (Debian 13 Trixie) <del>in a few minutes</del>, <del>with ongoing installation of debian packages</del>. Chaintools and modules will be available soon (few days).**
