On June 7 and 8, 2023, ENS de Lyon welcomed a delegation from East China Normal University, led by its Vice-President of International Relations.
On Thursday June 7 and Friday June 8, the ENS de Lyon - represented by Philippe Maurin, Director of International Affairs, Emmanuelle Boulineau, Vice-President of Studies and Jean-Michel Roy, Scientific Coordinator of the ProSFER and JoRISS programs - welcomed a delegation from East China Normal University (ECNU) led by its Vice-President of International Relations, Professor GU Hongliang.
This visit, the first since December 2019, provided an opportunity to take stock of the PRoSFER (Program of Sino-French Education for Research) and JoRISS (Joint Research Institute for Science and Society) programs, both jointly managed with ECNU.
The discussion also focused on the relaunch of the ProSFER student mobility program, whose PhD students currently working at ENS de Lyon were invited to attend. In September, the ENS de Lyon will be welcoming five Chinese students in their final year of the PRoSFER master's program for a semester of exchange. This will enable them to familiarize with studying in France, meet researchers in our laboratories and prepare for a possible application for a joint thesis as part of the doctoral component of the program.
After a three-year hiatus due to the closure of frontiers, teaching mobility will gradually resume from the 2023-2024 academic year.
