NetCost Estimation Service

Network Cost Estimation Service (NCES) is providing the grid schedulers with an aggregate estimate of the network performance in terms of achievable throughput of a dedicated end-to-end path. NCES is distributed in open source in the EDG suite. NCES is used by Reptor, a Replica Optimization OGSA service.
