IN conversation with AI. Questioning artificial intelligence on human-sensitive issues as of 2025

A new book by emeritus professor Ioan Negritiu appeared this year !

About the book

The technological race in AI development faces profound challenges, particularly the sector’s accumulating ecological and social debts : the related huge expenditures divert resources from other pressing socio-economic and ecological priorities. AI is used here to critically examine societal issues and processes by interviewing two dominant models : ChatGPT and DeepSeek.

The book is a surprising journey into the depths of the everyday human condition, into aspects of ourselves we often choose not to see, especially as a collective. The experience of reading this work, in which a human-conceived system of thinking is processed and reflected by a skilful digital brain, offers readers something deeply important to reflect upon, and to act upon.

For example, the two instruments appear to agree on health, in its systemic dimension, as a universal value and a desirable future for mankind. Health, the ultimate collective narrative ?
