It is my great pleasure to host Dr. Shigeru Kondo from the Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences of Osaka University for a seminar:

Pattern formation in zebrafish: From Alan Turing’s reaction-diffusion model to cellular mechanisms

Dr. Kondo will present a set of provacative results on the pattern formation in zebrafish, and how Alan Turing’s Reaction-Diffusion model applies to such patterning. His discovery based on a multidisciplinary approach should be of great interest to mathematicians, physicists and biologists alike.
