The Plume team participates in the fundamental computer science [informatique fondamentale] theme of the FIL.
Our main scientific objective is to improve our understanding of proofs and programs, and thus proof systems and programming languages. Our strategy takes its roots in the Curry-Howard-de Bruijn correspondence between proofs and programs: by understanding proofs better, we understand programs better, and vice-versa. The correspondence in itself is not fixed, and parts of our objective consist in extending it to new areas.
The members of the team consist of experts in logic (linear logic, proof theory, categorical logic) and semantics (operational, denotational, concurrent, games). We also share an important background in functional programming, type theory, automata theory, category theory, and proof assistants. International conferences announcing novel results in these areas include LICS, ICALP, POPL, CONCUR, CSL, STACS, ICGT and FoSSaCS.
