Over the past decade many groups have performed molecular dynamics
simulations of equilibrium time correlations for one-dimensional
fluids and anharmonic chains, as e.g. FPU. We will explain
how such systems can be modeled through a 3-component
version of the stochastic Burgers equation. Scaling exponents and
functions are predicted.
