Liquid-gas flows play a central role in the transfert of low solubility gases, such as dioxygen, from the atmosphere to the ocean. Bubbles form from the fragmentation of large gas pockets, entrained by breaking waves. In our group, we investigate various stages of the bubble fate in turbulence, combining experiments and numerical simulations, to understand the distribution of bubble size under breaking waves. Today, I will focus on one aspect : the bubble deformations statistics of bubble in turbulence. We will see that a simple model can be used deduce the lifetime statistics of bubbles in turbulence. From what we have learned on oscillating buble in turbulence, we moved to a fluid structure situation of oscillating object in turbulence: the dynamics of  a pendulum chain immersed in a turbulent flow. I will present our current understanding in both configurations, drawing an analogy between this a priori different topics.
