Among the many equipments shared by our team are not only commercial equipments, but also home-made devices to get deeper insight into the mechanical and dynamical properties of soft matter. The following list provides a quick overview of the instruments available in our team:

  • rheometers [Kinexus Ultra+ (Malvern Instruments), AR-G2, HR-20 and ARES-G2 (w/OSP) (TA Instruments), MCR 301, MCR 302, and MCR 702 (Anton Paar)]
  • ultrasound imaging and ultrasonic velocimetry coupled to rheometry [@LPENSL]
  • electro-rheological device (ERD) [Anton Paar]
  • rheo-impedance spectroscopy [TA Instruments]
  • dielectric spectroscopy
  • tensiometer [Theta Flow, Attension]
  • Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) [Nanowizard 4, JPK]
  • Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS)
  • Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) [@LPENSL]
  • nanoindenter [PIUMA/CHIARO, Optics 11]
  • confocal microscope [Nikon]
  • traction machine (biaxial mechanical testing) [@LPENSL]
  • high-speed optical imaging [Photron]
  • neuromorphic camera [Prophesee]
