Developments and application of quantum chemistry methods to complex systems
Developing efficient quantum chemistry tools is a prerequisite to the study of electronic structure and of properties of systems with variable dimensionlity.
To start, the interest of localisation methods will be presented on systems that are described by model hamiltonians. Then, exploring chemical systems dominated by electronic correlation will demonstrate the strong importance of cooperativity in such systems.
