I will present the results of recent numerical studies on the statistical properties of the dynamics of neutrally buoyant particles in developed turbulence. The focus is on the effects the particle finite-size and on the particle shape. The new findings will be placed in the context of the last two decades of experimental and numerical studies on the topic. I will concisely review the theoretical models and the available experimental results. While the first part of my presentation will be devoted to the acceleration properties the second one will be dedicated to angular dynamics. Current open problems and directions of future research will be discussed.
