Even if the first medical image has been produced more than hundred years ago, with the first X-ray in 1895, the medical imaging field is still under heavy development. A recent successful approach is the coupling between different fields of physics: optics, acoustics, electromagnetism, etc., to create new techniques qualified as "multiphysics". This seminar will present my research work in biomedical imaging. The presentation will be separated in five parts: the conception of a Lorentz-force hydrophone, the development of an imaging technique called "Lorentz Force Electrical Impedance Tomography", the demonstration of an elasticity measurement technique of organs using the Lorentz force, and using a laser beam, and finally the feasibility of a elasticity measurement technique of cells. The presentation will close on two envisioned researches in this field.
