Biography:

Sundeep Prabhakar Chepuri was born in India in 1986. He received his M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in electrical engineering and Ph.D. degree (cum laude) from the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, in July 2011 and January 2016, respectively. He has held positions at Robert Bosch, India, during 2007-2009, and Holst Centre/imec-nl, The Netherlands, during 2010-2011, and was a postdoctoral scholar with the Circuits and Systems group at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science of the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands in 2016-2018. Since 2018, he is Assistant Professor  at the Department of Electrical and Communication Engineering, at the Indian Institute of Science.

Dr. Chepuri received the Best Student Paper Award for his publication at the ICASSP 2015 conference in Australia. His general research interest lies in the field of mathematical signal processing, statistical inference, sensor networks, wireless communications, network sciences and computational imaging. The main themes are computational sensing, sparse sensing, sparse sampling, signal processing and machine learning for communications, graph signal processing, and machine lear, ning over graphs.

He was an Associate Editor of the EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing (2016 - 2020). Currently, He is an elected member of the IEEE SPS Society's Sensor Array and Multichannel Technical Committee (SAM TC), IEEE SPS Society's Signal Processing Theory and Methods (SPTM TC) and EURASIP Signal Processing for Multisensor Systems’ Special Area Team (SPMuS TAC).
