Since random matrices play an important role in many areas of physics, mathematics and data science, it is not too surprising to witness the growing number of applications of random tensor theory. The plan of the talk is to review (with more or less details) some applications to statistical physics, data recovery, random graphs, quantum physics, condensed matter, holography, etc.
