Title: The s-Matrix proposal
Jnanadeva Maharana (Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar, India)
Abstract:
I shall briefly recall the history of the S-matrix proposal. The field theoretic framework will be introduced. A pedagogical presentation will be made about analyticity of amplitude. A simple derivation of the Froissart bound for total cross section will be given.
