In this talk, I’ll show some of the activities we have with robots-cafards that we use in different type of experiments. The robots are autonomous self-propelled elements of few-centimeter scale without further interactions than contact between particles and walls. By putting together the robots in environments with simple geometry, we obtain situations such as self-organisation, traffic jams, cell-like behaviour or spontaneous sorting.
