Quantum Fields & Gravitation
We investigate theories of fundamental interactions that extend beyond the Standard Model of particle physics and classical general relativity. Our work spans approaches to the subnuclear structure of spacetime, including string theory, loop quantum gravity, and random geometry, as well as the study of non-perturbative phenomena in quantum field theory and the exploration of strong gravity physics (astrophysical compact objects and gravitational-wave emissions).
