Subject:
The PHOeBUS project focuses on the study of butterfly flight, both in its physical characteristics and its development.
It is part of ESA's "Fly Your Thesis!" call for proposals to participate in a parabolic flight campaign in November 2020. In the event that the project is not selected by ESA, the experimental device will be developed for popularisation purposes and complementary experiments on gravity will be carried out on caterpillars and chrysalises. An alternative is envisaged for microgravity with the GDR "Fundamental and Applied Microgravity".
