In collaboration with the André-Marie Ampère Federation, the Physics Disciplinary Coordination Network (RCD) is launching its first series of public outreach events to mark the visit to Lyon of Professor Yifang Wang (Institute of High Energy Physics, China), an international leader in particle physics and CNRS Fellow Ambassador for 2025–2027.

As part of this initiative, Professor Yifang Wang will deliver a special lecture on Friday, July 3, 2026, at La Doua, titled: “Physics of Neutrinos: Portal to the Future of Particle Physics.” The lecture will focus specifically on neutrinos, fundamental particles still shrouded in mystery, as well as on the advances resulting from the Daya Bay and JUNO experiments, of which he is one of the principal architects.

This event will offer participants a high-level scientific perspective on recent discoveries and the future of global research in particle physics.

Free admission, subject to availability. Lecture in English.
