Polymeric ionogels for energy storage

C. Andraud, C. Monnereau

This project, which is based on a simple but unprecedented methodology for the efficient transformation of poly(hydroxyethylacrylate) into Poly(ionic liquids) will focus on un-entangling the gel formation mechanisms of  novel Poly(ionic liquids), and understand  their relation to the rheological, ionic diffusion and conduction properties within the gel.

This project will be developed in collaboration with C. Bucher (E2 axis), N. Taberlet and S. Manneville (Physics Laboratory of Ens-Lyon), and C. Carrot (IMP laboratory of Jean Monnet University of St Etienne) for the shaping study of the PolyIonic gel materials into quasi-solid electrolytes.
