CANG9137 : C1 _ Creative Writing: Storytelling Beyond Fiction

This course is designed for students seeking to enhance their writing skills in English. Written English expression is essential for students who hope to work in academic research and those wishing to pursue study and work abroad. However, written expression is often considered a complex skill to acquire, and the Storytelling Beyond Fiction class addresses this challenge, helping students significantly develop their written expression skills through a creative and amusing pedagogical approach. During the semester, we will explore different creative writing styles, including travel and food writing, podcast and documentary writing, memoir writing and speech writing. There will be a strong emphasis on practical tasks that target written expression and grammar.
