A collaborative study involving clinical teams from Hospices Civils de Lyon, several research teams from the International Research Center for Infectious Diseases - (CIRI - Inserm/CNRS/ENS de Lyon/UCBL) and the HCL-bioMérieux joint research unit has just been accepted for publication by The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, an international medical journal. It focuses on very specific proteins, Type 1 interferons, and directs us towards new therapeutic avenues for COVID-19 patients.
