Science and music
The House of mathematics and computer science (MMI) and the MiLyon initiative are hosting a fun and interactive exhibition focused on music. Musimatique invites visitors to discover music through the history of math and some novel experiments.
The exhibition has four parts:
- D’Ore et d’Espace: a sound installation by composer and artist Denys Vinzant
- Smartmusique: turn your smartphone into a music instrument! In partnership with GRAME
- Ce que disent les mathématiques (What mathematics say), in partnership with the university library of Université Lyon 1
- Voir et toucher le son (Seeing and touching sound), in collaboration with the Physics department of the ENS de Lyon.
