The Scientific Center for Numerical Modeling (PSMN) is the computing mesocenter of the ENS de Lyon housing the resources shared in High Performance calculation (HPC).

This platform provides the School's researchers with the means of calculation and storage acquired with the financial support of research laboratories (ANR, ERC, research contracts,), the ENS de Lyon, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region (CPER CIRA, CIDRA and SYSPROD) and the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and research (Equipex Equip@Meso).

Its main mission is to provide ENS de Lyon’s research laboratories along with, on a broader scale, the University of Lyon, with efficient and flexible computer resources, as well as software and human resources. The platform also participates in the HPC training of staff researchers, teacher-researchers and students of these laboratories.

Equipment: approximately 7000 cores.
