On the occasion of the Assises Internationales du Roman, the international forum for novels, Vanessa Guignery, Professor at ENS de Lyon, organized a meeting between Salman Rushdie and students at Villa Gillet on 30 May 2017.
The meeting was partly based on Salman Rushdie's last novel, “Two years, Eight months and Twenty-Eight Nights”, but also on his other works, his work as a writer and his relationship with literature.
