Education and human exchange constitute an essential dimension of the partnership between France and India. Collaborations in higher education, research and innovation lead the priorities of the third edition of Bonjour India, which culminates with the first Indo-French Knowledge Summit.

Coinciding with President Emmanuel Macron’s first State visit to India, the Knowledge Summit purpose was to bring together leaders form the academic, scientific and economic world in order to shape the Indo French roadmap for the next decade.
Graced by the presence of H.E. Mrs Frédérique Vidal, inister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon'ble Minister of Human Resource Development, this two-day meeting offered a common moment for a common goal: increase student mobility, enlarge Research & Development collaborations and link campuses to companies by focusing on employability.
The signature of a large number of agreements showcase the new dynamic of the partnership between the two countries.
DAY 1
On the first day plenary sessions were organized to focus on the new vision of Indo-French collaborations in the context of globalization, student mobility, pedagogical innovation, need-based skill development as well as latest advances in science and innovation.
DAY 2
On the second day, 2 sessions of 4 parallel thematic round table discussions were organized to focus on key areas of mutual interest for both the countries, such as Smart Cities, Aerospace & Space, Agronomy & Food Processing, Building a World class H.E. Institutions with enterprises, Eco Energies, Mathematics & IT, Natural Resources & Bio Products, Strengthening Employability & Entrepreneurship.
Mr Jean-François Pinton, a member of the presidential delegation, was invited to thematic round table discussions on renewable energy.
