First report of the European project Crosscut
The CROSSCUT project ("Cross-curricular teaching") started in September 2016, thanks to the initiative of the CIEP (International Centre for Pedagogical Studies) of Sèvres and in partnership with the French Institute of Education – ENS de Lyon.
It is an Erasmus + European project (2016-2019) that explores the interdisciplinary practices of secondary school teachers and began with a field survey.
Results from this European survey were collected and formatted by the Danish Research Laboratory LSUL from Syddansk Universitet. You will find the translation of this report online on the IFÉ website.
The objective of this field survey was to locate these interdisciplinary or, more generally, transversal practices, among other teaching practices, in particular through the analysis of national resources available to teachers and the potential that institutions see in these practices; and to understand which obstacles impede the implementation of interdisciplinary teaching in institutions; and which facilities are used by institutions to lift these barriers.
