Jean-François Pinton, President of the École normale supérieure de Lyon, will host the official ceremony during which Pr Abhijit Banerjee - Professor of Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 2019 Bank of Sweden Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel - and Paul Seymour - Professor of mathematics at Princeton University, pioneer in discrete mathematics and theoretical computer science- will be bestowed the diploma of Doctor Honoris Causa of École normale supérieure de Lyon.

The ceremony will be held in English, it will be followed by a conference given by Abhijit Banerjee: Rethinking Poverty.
