After the Workshop Doing fieldwork and crossed practices in Post-Western Sociology (1) - 2016 July the, 18, 19, 20 at ENS Lyon - this Workshop Doing fieldwork and crossed practices in Post-Western Sociology (2) is aiming at examining how research practices and sociological knowledge are constructed by analyzing the similar and different forms of field experience in Chinese and French sociology.

Introduction by Professor Chen Guangjin Director of the Institute of Sociology, CASS, and Professor Laurence Roulleau-Berger, Research Director at CNRS, ENS lyon, Triangle, French Director of the LIA : "What about methodological practices in Post-Western Sociologies ?"
September 19th (afternoon) and September 20th - Doing fieldwork in Beijing

 

  • Fieldwork 1 : Doing exploratory fieldwork with « dagongmei » : migratory’s experience and subjectivation in Dashila : construction of new urban communities ;
  • Fieldwork 2 : Doing exploratory fieldwork in desindustrialized zones with poor workers Beijing Shougang Group, Shijingshan District ;
  • Fieldwork 3 : Doing exploratory fieldwork in spaces of new collective action , with Nature University, A’suwei, on collective action for environmental issues.
