This year, the French Chemists' Tournament (TFChim) takes place at ENS de Lyon, on March 22 & 23. This year, the tournament takes place at ENS de Lyon!
On the program, twenty meetings between ten teams of students from French and Quebec Grandes Écoles and Universities, in the form of exchanges and debates on themes at the crossroads between chemistry, the arts and the senses, culture, and issues of daily life. Whether on the perception of sweet taste, the design of a chemical musical instrument or the decontamination of land exposed to pollutants, the theoretical and experimental work of the different teams promises to be rich and fascinating!

The French Chemists' Tournament (TFChim) was created in 2020 by several higher education establishments with the aim of popularizing chemistry and giving our students the opportunity to meet to discuss science around current issues. Students work for several months on open-ended chemistry problems. Meetings take place in March between the different teams, to discuss the solutions proposed through oratorical jutes. This exercise allows students to acquire several skills that are necessary to enter the professional world. It is also a moment of conviviality and sharing of science, very appreciated by the students and also by the supervisors and members of the jury.
