On the occasion of a visit of the VIASM governance to the ENS of Lyon and the Labex MILYON, Ngô Bảo Châu, will give two presentations on "La géométrie de la fibration du Hitchin".

Ngô Bảo Châu, Fields Medal 2010, Professor at the University of Chicago and Scientific Director of the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM), will give two presentations in Lyon on October 14 and 15 on "The geometry of Hitchin fibration".

The first presentation will be held on Monday, October 14 at the ENS in Lyon and will focus on the geometry of Hitchin's fibration from a group theory perspective.

The second presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University and will focus on the case of the larger dimensions where many interesting questions could arise.

These exceptional presentations take place during a visit to VIASM's governance at the ENS de Lyon and Labex MILYON.
