The main theme of this conference is the notion of hierarchical structures in tilings, and its connection to aperiodicity. Our idea is to gather mathematicians and computer scientists working on various aspects of tilings.

This school is part of the thematic semester "Graphs, Groups and Dynamics". This workshop will follow directly an advanced school Sept. 18-22, 2017.
