Biography

Born in 1970, Henning Samtleben obtained a doctorate in theoretical physics from the University of Hamburg and the Max-Planck Institute of Gravitational Physics in Potsdam, Germany in 1998. After two years of post-doctoral studies at the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics at ENS Paris, and then two more years at the Institut Spinoza at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, he became Assistant Professor at the University of Hamburg. In 2006, he began working in the physics laboratory at the ENS de Lyon as a Professor.  

His research fields are field theory, supergravity, string theory, and integrative systems.
