The International Research Project "Matter: Structure and Dynamics" reinforces an already long-standing collaboration in physics between French and Chilean research teams.

Created in 2016 under the initiative of CNRS, it brings together the Physics Laboratory (UMR 5672) in Lyon, the PMMH (UMR 7636) and the Langevin Institute (UMR 7587) in Paris, and three Chilean institutions: Universidad de Chile, Universidad de Santiago de Chile, and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.

The scientific project, balanced between experiment and theory, focuses on the physics of complex media: a fundamental approach opening up opportunities in biophysics and geophysics.
