Conference: Alain Aspect, 2022 Nobel prize in Physics - 250th anniversary of Ampère

As part of the opening ceremony of the 250th anniversary celebrations of André-Marie Ampère, Alain Aspect, winner of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics, will be giving a lecture entitled "Ampère, un savant universel",(Ampère, a universal scholar) on Thursday 30 January at 3.30pm in Mérieux Auditorium at ENS de Lyon. This will be followed by a round-table discussion on the theme of ‘Ampère's legacy’ and a book-signing session over a birthday cocktail.
This event is also the 5th FRAMA/SFP Conference. It closes the cycle of major FRAMA-SFP autumn conferences in 2024.

3.00 pm - official opening and presentation
3.30 pm - Lecture by Alain Aspect: "Ampère, a universal scholar".
5.00 pm - Round table: "Ampère's legacy".
