PHC Japon - Programme SAKURA
The aim of this program is to develop scientific and technological exchanges of excellence between laboratories in the two countries, by encouraging new cooperative projects and the participation of young researchers and PhD students. The program supports research projects proposed jointly by a French and a Japanese team, with priority given to programs establishing new cooperative ventures.
Exploration Japan program + Exploration France program
The program is open to researchers from laboratories attached to Japanese higher education establishments, research organizations or companies. The program aims to provide them with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of research activities carried out in France in their field of interest, and to meet key French figures in order to initiate new scientific collaborations between our two countries.
French Government Scholarship
French Government Scholarships aimed at promoting the best training in priority fields of Franco-Japanese cooperation. These scholarships are granted jointly by a Franco-Japanese board of examiners, and constitute an essential part of academic exchanges between France and Japan.
Monbukagakusho : Japanese Government Scholarship
MEXT (The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) Scholarship: offers study and research scholarships (Monbukagakusho) at master's and doctoral level to French students who have completed at least a bachelor's or master's degree by the time they leave for Japan.
JASSO scholarship
JASSO offers scholarship for qualified international students who are accepted by a Japanese university, graduate school, junior college, college of technology(3rd grade or upper)or professional training college under a student exchange agreement or other student exchange arrangement on a short-term basis from 8 days to one year between Japanese school and their home higher educational institution outside Japan.
JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) research grants
JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) research grants: The JSPS offers funding for PhD students or staff affiliated to a research institution (or about to join such an institution) with a research project lasting more than 3 months at accredited universities or research centers abroad.
Takenoko Scholarship
It aims to promote exchanges and mobility opportunities in the humanities and social sciences between France and Japan.
