ENS de Lyon strives to help students take initiatives in the world of research.
Students are therefore given the opportunity to create their own research laboratory (known as a Junior Laboratory) to discover research through practical learning, and then, to write a publication or hold a symposium on their research.
- Who are these Junior Labs for? For students holding “an agrégation” or a Master’s 2 degree, enrolled in thesis studies at ENS de Lyon or those who have studied for at least one full year at ENS de Lyon.
- How do you set up a Junior Lab? The decision to create a Junior Laboratory is adopted by the Scientific Council of ENS de Lyon. The closure of a Junior Laboratory gives rise to a report forwarded to the Scientific Council.
- How long does a Junior Lab last? Junior Labs are created for a duration of 2 years. A renewal request can be sent to the Scientific Council.
