All year long, students and staff can participate to several cultural activities as well as benefit from the school's facilities such as the theater or the gallery and other exhibition rooms.

For the annual "Rendez-vous aux jardins" (Garden rendez-vous), ENS de Lyon opens its gardens, designed by Gilles Clément, to the general public.

The Science Festival (Fête de la science) is the opportunity to discover all the sciences: biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, but also human and social sciences.

Each year, the Foundation for the Université de Lyon organises the "Journées de l’Économie" (Economic Days), or Jéco, offering free access to conferences, debates and meetings devoted to economics.

ENS de Lyon is one of the partners that are actively involved in this event.
