The new generation datacenter at ENS de Lyon is equipped with sixty-six 48U and 42U computer bays over 210m². The electrical grid system can supply 610kW of IT power and has the equivalent cooling capacity.

It already hosts the HPC (High Performance Computing) resources of the PSMN (350kW), the HPC resources of the Grid 5000 node in the city of Lyon (50kW) and the CBP HPC resources (50kW).

It will soon host the core 10 Gb/s network (routing, VDI concentration (voice, data, & images)) of the ENS Monod site, the Renater access (Internet) via Lyres (metropolitan network of universities). It also centralizes the IT resources of the Information Systems division.
